COVID-19 vaccination for secondary students and school staff

School vaccination program

A vaccination program is in progress across a group of schools throughout Term 4, 2021.

The initiative is targeting priority settings including secondary schools, residential colleges, agricultural colleges and education support schools.

This program provides a combination of in-reach vaccination clinics within schools, and supported transport options for students to be bussed into existing State-run vaccination clinics.

The in-reach program means students are able to receive a COVID-19 vaccination at an on-site clinic at their school. To increase vaccinations, the program also supports schools in both metropolitan and regional WA in transporting students to State-run vaccination clinics. This provides another convenient option for young people to receive their COVID-19 in addition to existing vaccination opportunities.

Students, parents and carers are encouraged to contact their school directly for further details about the COVID-19 vaccination options provided in their school.
