Women's Health Week 2026
8 September 2026
Women’s Health Week, 7 – 11 September, is a time to recognise the importance of improving the health and wellbeing of women, girls, and gender-diverse people. This year’s theme, ‘Do it anyway’, encourages women to take small, positive steps towards better health.
Women’s Health Week provides women the space to start important conversations, reduce stigma, and empower women, girls, and gender-diverse people to take action for their health. This year’s Women’s Health Week focuses on 5 key areas: nutrition, movement, rest, mental wellbeing, and social connection.
It’s not about pushing through pain or pressure. It’s about giving yourself permission to prioritise your health, whether that means seeking support, asking another question, taking time to rest, or doing what feels right for you.
There are a range of health issues that affect women throughout their lives and it is important to raise awareness of these issues to improve the ongoing gaps in knowledge, research, and care.
